Individual Psychological Therapy Sessions

I specialize in helping individuals who are struggling with anxiety-related difficulties, low mood/depression or trauma (e.g. PTSD/Complex PTSD). I am an integrative psychological therapist, which means that I am trained in and use multiple therapeutic approaches in my practice to tailor the psychological intervention to each person’s specific needs.

I have a specialist training in psychodynamic therapy – Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) which works at a profoundly experiential level. I am trained in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).

I am committed to working with individuals to develop a non-judgmental, and supportive therapeutic relationship between client and therapist, to develop an effective and compassionate space through which feelings and difficulties can be explored. I work to help people to gain a better awareness and understanding of what may have contributed to their difficulties forming, what may be maintaining their distress, and to find ways to create positive change. It then becomes possible for individuals to work towards moving forward in their life feeling more in control and empowered.

I currently offer one-to-one online and face-to-face psychological therapy interventions. I offer daytime and a limited number of evening appointment slots. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss accessing therapy further, or to book an appointment.

Please contact me by email for an initial conversation to see whether the therapy I offer might be of help to you. If you think it might be, then we can meet for an initial assessment appointment to decide whether my style of work suits your needs.

If I am not the right professional for you, there is no obligation for you to see me for further appointments and I will endeavour to point you towards a source of help that meets your needs.

I am registered with health insurance providers: AXA PPP, WPA, BUPA

Face-to-Face Appointments held at:

Southgate House, Southgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 1UB
