I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, HCPC, and fully accredited by the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Therapists, BABCP.  I have been working in psychological services since 2014 within public services, and in private contexts. 

I have experience in providing assessment and psychological therapy with individuals with a wide range of psychological conditions and difficulties. My training as a Clinical Psychologist is diverse, and I draw on a range of therapeutic models in my work, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, ACT, Compassion Focused Therapy, CFT, Systemic Therapy, and others.

Therapy approach
I am passionate about supporting individuals to manage their difficulties using evidence-based psychological approaches, and I take an individual, tailored approach to therapy, led by the person. I have a warm and practical approach to therapy. 

Initial sessions allow us to understand what areas of life you are struggling with, and any specific problems or difficulties. Together we can then explore what type of therapeutic interventions might be most helpful and make a plan.

Therapy might be open-ended, or limited to a specific number of sessions. Most people are seen weekly or fortnightly, but other arrangements can be made. A preliminary chat on the phone can help you to think about what I can offer and whether I might be the right therapist for you.
