Clinical Psychologist

Associate with Gloucestershire Psychology Services
I am a Clinical Psychologist offering face-to-face and online psychological therapy sessions to adults, couples, adolescents, and parents.
I have experience working with difficulties including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and emotion regulation difficulties. I work integratively, which means I draw on skills and thinking from different approaches to fit an individual’s needs and therapy goals. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) in the pursuit of helping the people I work with move towards to things that give their life meaning.
I enjoy thinking with people about their beliefs, theories, and philosophies as we seek to make sense of the current difficulties that they are experiencing, whilst maintaining a safe and trust filled space to explore current difficulties and work towards shared goals.
In a changing world, not all sources of distress are diagnosable disorders. My research interests are in Eco-distress, and I am willing to think about this, relatively new, phenomenon therapeutically with people in order to reduce the severity of distress in people’s lives.
Face-to-Face appointments offered at Southgate House in Gloucester. Evening appointments available.
Online appointments also offered.
